mine is longer than yours

We all know what a Lumix LX3 looks like.

While going through lx3-photography.com, I saw what other LX3 lovers did to their babies.

This one has an adapter.

This one has a filter.

And then the lens thing got kind of crazy.

purple pork

Last night, I made some chicken cacciatore, which was a great success. Today, my problem was how to use up the leftover red wine from cooking the chicken. I browsed through my cookbooks and found "Pork Chops with Wine". I had all the ingredients in my ref, so I tried it.

The wine made it purple.

The verdict? Bunny Rabbit: "Yuck!"

The recipe came from this book:

boracay's recompression chamber

I have been the president of the Boracay Association of Scuba-diving Schools (BASS) for four years now. Elections are held every December and the officers' term is one year, so yes, I have won four times. It's a thankless job that nobody else wants. There's no salary, no benefits, and everyone dumps all their problems on me. So why do I do it?

The reason arrived yesterday. Finally.

From Wikipedia: "A recompression chamber is a pressure vessel used to treat divers suffering from certain diving disorders such as decompression sickness."

My gad. It feels like I had been working on this project forever. But now we have our very own recompression chamber-- something that even the most popular scuba diving destinations in this country don't have.

I hope we never have to use it.

Mr. T is in charge of maintenance.

in the old days

Before I got my Lumix, I used a Canon Powershot SD750. It's a great little camera.

Image borrowed from gpctweb01.globalpct.com.

It takes really nice pictures.

It's not very expensive.

It's a go-anywhere type of camera.

I took these pictures in September and October of 2008. I was looking through my files and found them. Not bad, eh? It's the photographer, not the camera.
