let's get physical

A while ago, I made a vow to be slim and sexy by my next birthday. That's four months from now. Time is getting short, plus my favorite clothes don't fit me anymore.

Steve Shadow told us about the gym at Regency Lagoon Resort Boracay so we went to take a look. We got the grand tour. It's nice to have friends in high places, jeje.

They've been open for a year now, but this was our first time to see the resort. Not bad!

View from the fourth floor of the north wing.

The one and only Executive (aka Presidential) Suite is the perfect party venue, I kid you not.

Upon entering the Executive Suite.

Living area, dining area and bar/ kitchenette.

Bedroom with your own La-Z-Boy. Check out the tub in the huge bathroom.

The Executive Suite, being in the exact middle of the resort, has a balcony which offers a truly panoramic view.

Straight ahead.

To the left.

To the right.

The basic "deluxe" rooms aren't too shabby, either.

The most important things: Beds, check. AC, check. LCD TV, check. Balcony, check.

The bathroom is spartan but has everything you need.

I was really impressed by the decor and color scheme, both indoors and outdoors. On their website, they call it "Asian-inspired architecture". But I like to think of it as "Modern Filipino".

Lovely little sitting area where nobody sits.

My favorite thing about Regency Lagoon? Lots of natural light.

And here we are-- The Gym.

Where we've spent two hours every day since 5 September 2011.

Awesome view while running jogging brisk walking.

Regency Lagoon Resort Boracay is at Station 2, along Main Road. Although it's not on the beach, they have that stupendous swimming pool. And when guests want to hang out at White Beach, a golf cart takes them to the beachfront property, Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Convention Center. Same owner.
